Black Men & The Weight of Silence | Emotional Abuse, Pressure, & Healing

Hey y’all, welcome back to Becoming Herrss — it’s Kayla. 🌻✨ We talk a lot about women and our trauma — that’s necessary. But today I’m holding space for our brothers too. Because the way Black men navigate pain, emotion, and healing is often silent and unseen. Too many of our brothers move through the world pretending nothing can break them. They’re taught to be unbothered, untouchable, but what happens when softness shows up anyway? What happens when the battles accumulate and there’s no safe place to land? In this video, we’re naming the abuse, the unspoken weight, the emotional overdose that comes when vulnerability is mislabeled as weakness — when seeking help feels impossible. To Black men watching: your life matters. Your feelings matter. You don’t have to carry this alone. To everyone else: this is your invite to hold space, speak up, and dismantle the silence. 🔸 We’ll talk about: – How emotional/mental abuse shows up in Black men’s lives – What the body & soul carry when words are locked away – Practical steps to start letting the weight down If this video hits you, drop a comment, share it with someone who needs it, and let’s build a world where everyone has permission to heal. #xoxowildflower #wildflowermovement #BecomingHerrss #SilentBattles #BlackMenHealing
