Bitch said What
I was talking to a friend today about my business, about my purpose, my vision, and the direction I’m moving in. I was excited, passionate, and full of fire. And their response?
“Oh my gosh… not another entrepreneur.”
As if following your purpose is played out. As if dreaming big is cringeworthy. As if the world doesn’t need one more person breaking generational cycles.
At first, I laughed it off. But later, it replayed in my head. Not because I need their approval, but because it reminded me just how conditioned people are to believe in limits. Like there’s only one path, one version of success, one way to live.
We’re told to keep our dreams private. Move in silence. Don’t say too much too soon.
But my brand? My purpose? I’m not hiding that. I talk about it. I post about it. I breathe it. I am it. Whether you like it or not, it’s out there and I’m not turning it down for nobody.
Still, I won’t lie. That comment left a sour taste. Because the truth is, this world is full of people who gave up on their own dreams, and now they want to talk you out of yours. They project their fears, their doubts, their failures onto you, and expect you to carry the weight of it.
But me? I don’t live under other people’s ceilings.
I believe in overflow. I believe in abundance. I believe there is room for everybody, and that my purpose is mine alone.
I already know there are people doing what I’m doing. I already know there are other brands, other voices, other platforms. But here’s what I also know: everyone has a unique purpose. And when you fully step into yours, nobody can do it like you.
You can be in a room full of people doing the same thing and still stand out. Because when your work is rooted in purpose, when it’s divinely assigned, it can’t be copied. It can’t be stolen. It can’t be duplicated.
I know my calling is real. And I know the way I do it is mine alone.
And that’s the part people don’t get.
I’m not just another entrepreneur. I’m not just building a brand. I’m building a legacy.
And this legacy? It’s not built on likes, aesthetics, or money.
It’s built on truth.
See, I know what it’s like to be lost. To feel invisible. To go online looking for something real, only to be met with cold energy and empty captions. I remember DM’ing a makeup artist I admired, just asking for beginner tips. Nothing deep, just something small to feel seen.
He read it. Never responded. Like he was too good to help someone just starting out.
Now? I don’t even see him post anymore.
And it made me realize, I’m not here to act like I’m too good for anybody.
My brand is not about looking successful. It’s not about chasing clout. It’s not about being seen. It’s about seeing people.
If I could do what I do for free and still survive, I would. Because I believe people deserve to heal. Deserve to feel like they matter. Deserve to hear someone say, “You’re not crazy, and you’re not alone.”
Yes, I love money. And yes, I want my business to thrive. But right now, that’s not my focus.
My focus is depth. My focus is truth. My focus is putting out content that speaks to the soul.
I’m not chasing the algorithm. I’m chasing alignment.
I’m talking about the shit no one talks about. The trauma. The unspoken. The spiritual death and rebirth. The soul work that doesn’t look good on a feed.
Because healing is not fucking pretty.
It’s not about pretending.
It’s not about curating some picture-perfect journey that skips the dark parts. It’s about getting in the dirt. It’s about breaking. It’s about becoming.
So yeah, maybe I am “another entrepreneur.”
But I’m not like the rest. I’m not here for the numbers. I’m not here for approval. I’m here for purpose. For the little girl who lost her voice. For the woman who’s still trying to find herself. For the souls who need to know healing is possible.
This is not about fucking pretending.
This is about being real. This is about being raw. This is about remembering who the hell you are and who you came here to be.
And I’m just getting started.
